Jules Kounde to miss Barcelona’s La Liga game vs Real Sociedad with Frenchman still unable to be registered
Barcelona defender Jules Kounde will not be involved in his side’s La Liga clash with Real Sociedad on Sunday night as he has still not been registered by the club.
Robert Lewandowski and Raphinha were also new signings. However, the club still needs funds to confirm Kounde.

Xavi, Barcelona’s manager, said at his prematch press conference that he is unsure what is happening to the France defender.
“At this moment, we don’t know anything.” We are available,” Xavi said.
The Blaugrana boss, however, is backing Kounde’s ability to showcase his talents when he can play for his new club.
“We are still waiting. Kounde is a great leader, and a great player. Xavi said, “I hope he shows it soon.”
“He has trained very well. I see him in good spirits. But, we need to sell players in order to be able register him.”
Samuel Umtiti (a French defender) is rumoured as being on his way from France to Lecce in Serie A. Umtiti is one of the possible departures that could enable Kounde’s official arrival.
Memphis Depay and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang were also strongly linked to exits. Both players have been included on the squad for Sociedad.
“The transfer market ends on 31 August and we don’t know what will happen,” Xavi said.
“Auba and Memphis still exist, so tomorrow we’ll use them.” However, registration Kounde is our priority.”
