Israel accused of using ‘automated apartheid’ in West Bank

Critics say Israel is utilizing facial recognition expertise to manage Palestinians within the occupied West Financial institution.

Amnesty Worldwide and the EU Fee are holding talks in Brussels on Israel’s use of synthetic intelligence to mass surveil Palestinians within the occupied West Financial institution.

The human rights organisation says Israel is using what it calls “automated apartheid” to construct a digital database of the Palestinian inhabitants.
