Eagles’ Josh Sills indicted on rape, kidnapping charges

Eagles rookie offensive lineman Josh Sills was indicted on rape and kidnapping costs in his native Ohio this week.

Prosecutors stated the 25-year-old Sills “did have interaction in sexual conduct” with a sufferer and “purposely compelled her to submit by pressure or menace of pressure” in an alleged incident that occurred in Guernsey County on Dec. 5, 2019.

The Guernsey County Sheriff’s Workplace carried out an investigation into the case and a grand jury indicted Sills on one felony rely of rape and one felony rely of kidnapping this week.

Sills is scheduled to look in courtroom on Feb. 16 — 4 days after the Eagles and Chiefs face off at State Farm Stadium in Arizona in Tremendous Bowl 2023 on Feb. 12.

The Eagles, nor Sills, have addressed the information publicly.

The rookie guard appeared in a single regular-season recreation for Philadelphia in opposition to the Cardinals on Oct. 9, taking part in 4 snaps on particular groups. The Eagles received that recreation 20-17.

Sills, who turned 25 on Thursday, attended each West Virginia and Oklahoma State throughout his school profession.  He joined the Eagles earlier than the 2022 season as an undrafted free agent.
