Longtime “SNL” star Kenan Thompson took a break from filming “Good Burger 2” in Rhode Island on Saturday to shock native cops with a supply of espresso and donuts.
Thompson, 45, and Newport Mayor Xaykham Khamsyvoravong stopped by the Newport Police Division with the morning snacks and posed for photos with the officers.
Cops thanked the Emmys host and the politician on Fb.
The officers admitted that they do certainly “actually do love espresso and donuts.”
“This morning at shift change the late watch and day watch Officers had been stunned by a pair guests!” the cops wrote on social media.
“Mayor Xay Khamsyvoravong and actor/comic Kenan Thompson stopped in with some espresso and donuts (sure we actually do love espresso and donuts).”
They added: “Thompson is in Rhode Island in the course of the filming of the brand new Good Burger film and was good sufficient to cease and hang around a few of the guys and ladies from NPD!”
