Shortstop C.J. Abrams was regarded as the Padres’ top prospect in 2021 and the No. Abrams was the No. 6 prospect in baseball last year. The 21-year-old made a debut in 2022 and is well-known for his exceptional defense. He is also a skilled baserunner and has a strong bat.

James Wood, OF

James Wood is currently ranked the Padres’ No. 3 prospect. The 19-year old is currently playing in low-A, and is expected to be MLB-ready by 2025. He is the No. He is the No.88 prospect of the MLB and has impressive outfield range.

Jarlin Susana RHP

Susana is not ranked among the top 100 prospects in baseball, but she is the No. 14 in the Padres’ system. He is just 18 years old and playing in rookie baseball. He already has a MLB frame and could be a pitcher who gets deep into games.
