Jimmy White bridges astonishing 47-year gap with 322nd century break in elite snooker
Jimmy ‘Whirlwind ‘White He celebrated his 322nd year as a professional to be eligible for the European Masters later in the month. The six-time world finalist has continued a remarkable 42 years of service.
White, now 60, celebrates his latest century 47 years after he made his first ton in Tooting as a teenager.
“By the time I was 13 years old, I had made a century and taken money from everyone in every place that I played.”

The three-time World Senior Champion’s century was his first win since last years’ British Open. This justifies his extended status on the professional circuit as a wildcard.
